npcDrops stats
My first real project was a Garry's Mod addon called npcDrops. A loot drop system for NPCs. I was 14, had no idea what I was doing, and somehow ended up with it being subscribed by 34,800 people on the Steam Workshop. People I'd never met were installing something I made and using it on their servers.
Then came Since Babies and Children, a Rimworld mod. It let colonists have children, raise them, and children could watch adults to learn skills. It was subscribed by 154,000+ people on the Steam Workshop.

And then Rimworld released an official DLC that added babies and children to the game, including a mechanic where children learn by watching adults. The same thing my mod already did.
I haven't had that rush since. But I've been building, learning, and moving across different domains. Go, Kotlin, Python, full-stack web, AI agent systems, vector databases, real-time frontends. The audience disappeared but the surface area of what I can build got a lot wider. I'll take that trade.
